CAREER

Carly is an engaging storyteller and meticulously organized researcher with 10+ years of experience working in New York City as a successful independent journalist and lead producer for research-driven, human interest projects. She has a proven track record of managing short-form documentary videos of the highest caliber for global media organizations, including NBC and The Wall Street Journal. She’s an expert in every part of video production from pitch to promotion, and a strong team leader and natural problem solver with top-notch collaboration skills. She builds trust with sources and clients by communicating openly and with integrity, and passionately fosters development and relationships by creating opportunities for others’ career growth.

LIFE

Carly grew up on a small horse farm outside of Pittsburgh and proudly shares her hometown and high school alma mater with Mister Rogers… he’s actually the reason she landed in New York, the story is one of serendipity and tenacity - ask her about it over a coffee sometime. She has a small vintage jacket collection inherited from her late grandfather, an Air Force veteran, and longtime UPS truck driver, and is pictured here in his 1970s/80s-era Teamsters Union jacket.
